About Me

I’ve been working in mental health since 2010. From 2021 to 2023, I worked in NHS services as a CBT therapist, and since then I’ve been supporting people through a major private provider. I’m currently training in Gestalt psychotherapy, a relational and exploratory approach that allows me to offer therapy for adults in Bristol.

My approach is grounded in compassion, presence, and curiosity. I’m here to support you in reconnecting with who you are and becoming more fully yourself. This isn’t just about managing symptoms, but understanding your experience deeply, expressing yourself authentically, and building a relationship with all parts of you — even the ones that feel conflicted, lost, or hard to love.

I also offer parts work and chairwork — creative, experiential methods that gently help you explore different aspects of yourself. These are always optional and used only if they feel right for you.

I’ve completed additional training in communication psychology, based on the work of Prof. Schulz von Thun in Hamburg. This training deepened my understanding of how we express ourselves, how misunderstandings arise, and how we can communicate with more clarity and authenticity.

Originally from Germany, I’ve lived and worked in the UK for many years, which gives me insight into the richness and complexity of living between cultures. This helps me support people navigating identity, change, and a sense of belonging.

Alongside my work as a CBT therapist, I offer in-person Gestalt therapy sessions in Bristol at a reduced rate through the Affordable Therapy Service with the Welsh Psychotherapy Institute (WPI).

I’m also in ongoing personal therapy myself, as required by my training — something I see as essential to my growth and presence as a therapist. I aim to work from a place of mutual humanity: one person meeting another, each bringing their unique self into the therapeutic relationship.

I have an interest in mindfulness and spiritual practice, and I regularly meditate. While I don’t bring this into therapy unless it feels meaningful to you, I’m open to exploring questions of meaning, intuition, or spiritual identity when they arise.

I’m committed to creating an inclusive, anti-oppressive, and affirming space where all identities and experiences are welcome. I strive to work in a way that honors your individuality and lived experience.

Ethical Practice

I’m guided by professional standards and ethical frameworks to ensure safe, respectful, and effective therapy. I work in accordance with the codes of the BABCP (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), UKCP (Gestalt psychotherapy training), and the Welsh Psychotherapy Institute (WPI).
